Founded in alignment with the vision of Dr Karsanbhai K Patel in 2007, the Institute of Law at Nirma University (ILNU) focuses on bringing about a paradigm shift in the delivery of legal education in the country. General Guidelines for Admission at the Institute of Law, Nirma University for the Academic Year 2024-25 :
Undergraduate Programmes
A candidate should have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate Examinations (10+2) or its equivalent examinations with not less than 45% aggregate marks. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in May 2024 are also eligible for applying to the Institute. However, they shall be required to produce evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
- Admission is based on the inter se All India merit rank of CLAT 2024.
- The eligibility criteria for the age will be same as prescribed by the CLAT Authority.
- Candidates must fill CLAT 2024 application form before filling in ILNU Application Form.
There is only one mode of application, i.e., ONLINE. The
online application can be accessed by a candidate by
registering oneself by creating a LOGIN ACCOUNT.
Postgraduate Programme (One Year)
A candidate should have successfully passed, three years
LL. B. Programme after graduation or five years Integrated
Law Degree Programme as recognized by the Bar Council
of India with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
Those who have appeared in aforementioned exam and the
result is awaited can apply for this programme. However,
admission will be subject to the fulfillment of eligibility
criteria at the time of admission.
Admission Process for LL. M. (One Year) is based on PG CLAT rank. In case of NRI / NRI Sponsored seat, if PG CLAT candidates are not available, the Institute can conduct its own examination.
